Game One: Old Westbury 3, Hunter 1
Old Westbury wasted little time as they plated two runs to break the scoring ice in the first.
Jennifer Jean led off the game with a single and two batters later crossed the plate on a single by
Alyssa Clancy. Two batters later,
Corrine Protasiewicz doubled Old Westbury's advantage with a two-bagger that scored Clancy for a 2-0 lead. Hunter answered in the second with their lone run of the game off a double, courtesy of Nicole Fillisetto driving in Meghan O'Shea.
Old Westbury answered back in the bottom of the second with a single run as Clancy drove in
Alex Heaney to close out the scoring books.
Hunter threatened in the fourth with three hits and two more in the seventh, but an alert Old Westbury defense shut down the Hawks' attempted rally.
Clancy's bat carried Old Westbury to victory in the opener, hitting 2-for-2, driving in two and scoring one. Protasiewicz (1-3, RBI) and
Jessica Spero (1-3) both produced doubles.
Meghan O'Shea scored Hunter's only run of the game and hit 2-for-3 at the plate.
Clancy (7-6) struck out four and logged her 12th complete game of the season in the circle to earn Old Westbury's win.

Game Two: Hunter 4, Old Westbury 0

Emily McKay early, who made her first career start for the Panthers. The Hawks scored two in the opening frame on a run scoring double by Molly Meehan followed by Angelica Iacovetti's run scoring single.
Julia Lipovac singled in the second to drive in Hunter's third run.
McKay ran into trouble in the fourth, finding herself with one down and the bases loaded. McKay then induced back-to-back infield ground outs to escape out of the inning unscathed.
In the sixth,
Alyssa Clancy relieved McKay, inheriting two runners. Clancy retired her first two batters faced before Sophia Ponce connected on a doubled close the scoring gates.
Old Westbury produced a pair of singles to open the seventh, but were unable to capitalize as Hunter's Erika Colangelo retired the next three batters.
