FARMINGDALE, NY (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) -The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's soccer senior forward Stephanie Maybie scored a pair of goals against the Farmingdale State Rams on Tuesday afternoon to become the program's all-time scoring leader, surpassing Cassandra Esposito's (2008-11) mark of 66.

Maybie scored a pair of late goals but they were not enough, as the Panthers were on the wrong end of 4-2 Skyline Conference road decision in Farmingdale, New York.  The loss moved Old Westbury (7-7-1) to 1-5-0 in conference play while Farmingdale State (11-4-3) improved to 6-0-1. 

Farmingdale State got it going early when Bethany Bianco assisted Ashlee Thompson at 6:47 for a 1-0 Ram advantage.  Then at 26:47, Thompson assisted on Ashley Appel's goal to double Farmingdale State's advantage, making it a two-score game.  Thompson would then close out the first-half scoring books at 34:11 for a 3-0 lead off Jazlyn Scott's assist. 

Thompson again answered for the Rams with her second-assist of the game at 70:20, finding Alena Gannon for a 4-0 lead.  At 80:43, Jordan Schildt found Stephanie Maybie for her 66th career goal, which tied her for the program's all-time scoring mark, making it a 4-1 game.  Maybie then surpassed Cassandra Esposito (2008-11) at 83:20 for her program-leading 67th career goal to make it a 4-2 game.   

Caitlin Thomas (6-7-1) made five saves and allowed three goals in the first half before Melissa Muller took over in the second half, stopping three shots while giving up one goal for Old Westbury.  Breanna Blair (11-4-3) made three saves to earn Farmingdale State's victory and Ashley Monzillo allowed both goals to close out the final 18:39.    

In the end, Farmingdale State held the advantage in shots (20-13), shots on goal (12-7) and corner kicks (7-5).

Prior to kick-off, seniors Stephanie Maybie (2011-14), Caitlin Thomas (2011-14), Jordan Schildt (2011-14), Kassandra Franco (2011-14), Jenna Donahue (2013-14) and Emily Winberry (2013-14) will be honored with the annual senior day ceremony for their dedication to SUNY College at Old Westbury athletics.
