MANHATTEN --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's volleyball concluded their 2015 non-conference schedule on the road Saturday afternoon against the John Jay Bloodhounds, falling in three sets (25-10, 25-10, 25-5) at The Doghouse.  

Shanayia Lloyd and Rayn Brown each nailed down two kills to pace the Panther (5-17) offense as Chelsey Hoffman dished out four assists.  Hoffman and Olivia O'Keefe each served one ace.  Hoffman added two solo blocks and four digs to her stat line while Lloyd scooped up six digs.  Brown and Brianne Dorney followed with five digs apiece.

Katrina Zapanta paced John Jay (10-13) with match highs of 10 kills and 21 assists.  Nyla Lloyd-Clarke added seven kills.  Rachel Eng tallied 15 digs and served eight of the team's 15 aces.  

YESHIVA MACCABEES AND ST. JOSEPH'S (BROOKLYN) BEARS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS ON SENIOR DAY SEASON FINALE: Old Westbury returns home to close out the 2015 campaign with a Skyline Conference Senior Day tri-match versus the Yeshiva Maccabees and St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) Bears at Clark Athletic Center.  The Panthers open with Yeshiva at 10 a.m. and close with the Bears at 2 p.m.  Yeshiva and St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) will battle during the middle match at 12 p.m.  

Prior to the 2 p.m. match with St. Joseph's (Brooklyn), seniors Rayn Brown (2012-15), Gerlande Lucas (2014-15) and Shannon Mullen (2014-15) will be recognized for their contributions with a Senior Day Ceremony.
