Robinson opened the scoring books just eight seconds into play by knocking down a jumper to give Old Westbury its lone lead of the game.  Mount Saint Vincent answered with a layup by Fraser followed by Barone's three pointer to put the Dolphins up for good (5-2) with 18:52 remaining.  Mount Saint Vincent would then use a 10-3 run to double its advantage, making it an 18-9 game at 14:25.  The Dolphins' lead reached double digits at 11:22 off Kelly Nola's jumper for a 24-13 edge.  Old Westbury trimmed the deficit to seven points late in the opening half before the Dolphins closed out the final 1:21 with 10 unanswered points to take a 50-31 advantage into the break.

Old Westbury's deficit reached 22 points off Barone's triple which opened the second-half scoring for a 53-31 Mount Saint Vincent lead.  Pentz's layup with 18:15 showing on the second-half clock sparked a 15-6 Panther spurt to make it a 15-point game (61-46) with 15:34 left.  Mount Saint Vincent's lead blossomed to 27 points (83-56) off Fraser's layup with 8:43 remaining.
