Game One: Old Westbury 7, Purchase 2
Purchase starting right-hander Miguel Reyes (3-3, 7.2 IP, 10 H, 7 R, 5 ER, 4 BB, 3 K) got off to a rocky start after dolling out walks to Old Westbury's two-three hitters in the opening frame.  Two batters later, Dean Sheridan (4-for-4, RBI, R) extended his career-best hitting streak to 10 games with a RBI single up the middle to score Michael Cardino for the game's initial run.

After issuing a leadoff walk to Jay Ruiz, Old Westbury starting left-hander Caleb Olesen (5-2, 3 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 6 K) retired his next 15 batters before Ronald Pressley's single broke up a no-hit bid in the fifth.  Following a single by Billy Kaul (2-for-3), Ruiz's ground out moved runners into scoring position before Robert Michael's RBI single platted home Pressley for the game-tying run.

Nick Yip doubled Old Westbury's advantage with a two-out RBI single to advance Brandon Stein across home plate for a 2-1 lead.  Stein reached base off third baseman Michael's error to lead off the inning before coming around to score four batters later.

Purchase answered right back in the eighth with Ruiz's sacrifice fly to right field to score Pressley to tie the game at 2-2.

Sheridan slapped a double to left center to lead off the home half of the eighth.  Sheridan advanced to third off a wild pitch.  Two batters later, Tommy Ziegen's sacrifice fly to center field scored Sheridan for the go-ahead run.  Four batters later, Jessie Matos delivered a two-run single to score Jonathan Pagan and Stein to increase Old Westbury's lead to three runs.  Purchase right-handed reliever Lukas Chin then uncorked a wild pitch, followed by a passed ball by catcher Brenden LaPorte to account for two more Old Westbury runs to close out the scoring books.

Game Two: Old Westbury 6, Purchase 0
Old Westbury starting right-hander Tim Ingram (6-2, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 15 K) retired nine of his first 11 batters on strikes before Teofilo Ramirez's single broke up his no-hit bit.  Ingram however, bounced back to retire the next two batters to register his 11th strikeout through four innings.  Ingram went on to post his second-straight complete game shutout, in addition to fanned a career-best 15 batters on strikes.

Coners (2-for-4, 2 R) set the table for the Panthers in the first inning with a leadoff double.  Yip (2-for-3, 2 RBI, 2 R) then broke the scoring ice with a RBI double before scoring off Sheridan's (2-for-3, 2 RBI) run-scoring single to make it a 2-0 game at the end of one.

Old Westbury dropped a four-run second inning on Purchase starting left-hander Christian Knochen (2-2, 6 IP, 11 H, 6 R, 2 BB, 0 K).  Coners, Yip and Sheridan all singled runners home before Robert Crocitto's ground out close out the scoring books with Yip crossing the plate for Old Westbury's sixth run.

Stein chipped in with a 2-for-3 game at the plate while both Sherdan and Yip extended their hitting streaks to 11 games.  Walsh also stroked a one-out single in the second to reach base for the 18th straight game.
