No. 2 Old Westbury takes on No. 3 Farmingdale State in Friday’s opening-round matchup

OLD WESTBURY, NY - (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) - No. 2 SUNY Old Westbury baseball (22-8) takes on the seven-time defending champions, No. 3 Farmingdale State Rams (16-15) in Friday's first-round Skyline Conference Championship Tournament matchup from Gregg Alfano Field in Patchogue, New York.  St. Joseph's College (L.I.) will play host to the four-team double-elimination tournament May 1-3. Due to limited onsite parking at the St. Joseph's College Outdoor Athletic Complex, fans are urged to carpool and arrive early to ensure parking.  

The Panthers and Rams take the field for the second game on Friday's opening round at 4 p.m.  Old Westbury has advanced to the final round in five-straight seasons.

The top-seeded St. Joseph's (L.I.) Golden Eagles (19-14) open tournament play at 1 p.m. versus the No. 4 Maritime Privateers (12-16) at 1 p.m.
