OLD WESTBURY, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury men's soccer evened its Skyline Conference record Saturday afternoon with a convincing 3-0 victory at home over the Sarah Lawrence Gryphons.

Dominick Guidice broke the scoring ice just 30 seconds into play for Old Westbury (1-7-0, 1-1-0), putting home his own rebound for his fifth goal of the season. Moments later, Tana Weekes doubled Old Westbury's advantage after receiving a feed from Ronald Monge for the breakaway goal at 6:34. Richard Cunzo would then find Weekes in the 12th minute to make it a 3-0 game to close out the scoring for his team-leading sixth goal of the season.

In the end, Old Westbury put up a season-best 26 shots, of which 11 landed on target, compared to Sarah Lawrence (1-4-2, 0-3-1 Skyline), who finished with six shots and one on goal. The Panthers also held a 6-1 edge in corner kicks.

Peter Sicardi (1-7-0) recorded his lone save of the day in the 84th minute to keep the Gryphons off the board to earn Old Westbury's clean sheet. James Berry allowed all three Panther goals and made eight stops in defeat for Sarah Lawrence.

MOUNT SAINT VINCENT DOLPHINS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury travels to take on the Mount Saint Vincent Dolphins next Tuesday (Sept. 29) at 3:30 p.m. for a Skyline Conference showdown from Athletic Field at Marillac.
