JAMAICA, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's volleyball returned back to their winning ways Wednesday evening with a convincing non-conference straight-set road sweep (25-17, 25-19, 25-23) of the York College Cardinals in Jamaica, New York.

Diana Amaya set career highs with five aces and nine digs to pace Old Westbury. Marie McKenzie served three (career high) of the Panthers' 12 aces to go along with five blocks and a career-best five kills. Sofia Goris contributed 11 assists and one ace on offense to go with five digs on the defensive side. Amanda Neenan added two aces and eight digs while Shanayia Lloyd chipped in with seven digs.

Shauncia McClendon and Tiandra Jones both nailed down a match-high six kills as Allison Ahmed's five assists moved the offense. Jones, Ahmed, Cheisan Pulinario and Wilnoska Perez each served two aces while Chayana Jimenez scooped eight digs.

THE SAGE COLLEGES GATORS AND MOUNT SAINT MARY COLLEGE KNIGHTS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to action next on Saturday (Oct. 22) for a Skyline Conference tri-match hosted by The Sage Colleges in Albany, New York. The Panthers open at 1 p.m. with the Mount Saint Mary College Knights followed by a 3 p.m. showdown with the host Gators inside Kahl Gymnasium
