USMMA jumped ahead with Maura Malone's goal 1:47 in before Old Westbury answered with a Natasha Treuman goal at 26:12.  Old Westbury replied to a Mariner goal with back-to-back scores from Sara Bey and Treuman to take its first lead of the game with 23:24 remaining in the half.  Jessica Reilly's goal at 21:59 ignited a 7-1 run to grab hold of a 9-4 game.  Treuman scored three of Old Westbury's four goals in the final 10:59 to head into the half down 14-8.  Danielle Weir closed out the first-half scoring with her second goal of the game with 57 seconds left.

Old Westbury trimmed its deficit to four as Bey and Weir opened the second-half scoring books to make it a 14-10 game with 25:31 remaining.  After USMMA stretched to lead to five, Gabriella DiPierno scored at 14:37 to bring it back to a four-score game.  The Mariners put the game away with back-to-back goals to take a 17-11 lead with 11:20 left.

Treuman finished with seven goals, three ground balls and two draw controls to pace Old Westbury.  Weir tied a career high with four goals and six draw controls.  Bey has now generated points in 11-consecutive games after finishing with two goals and one assist in addition to causing three turnovers.  Courtney Gallagher contributed three assists, three caused turnovers and two draw controls.  Olivia O'Keefe (0-1) debuted with 13 saves in defeat for Old Westbury.
