RIVERDALE, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's lacrosse (6-11, 4-3 Skyline) closed out the regular season Saturday with an 18-5 Skyline Conference road win over the Mount Saint Vincent Dolphins (0-13, 0-7 Skyline) in Riverdale, New York. Old Westbury will now make its first-ever Skyline Conference Championship appearance Wednesday (May 4), and will travel as the No. 4 seed to the top-seeded St. Joseph's (L.I.) Golden Eagles for semifinal round action at 7:30 PM in Patchogue, New York. Old Westbury also tied a program record with its sixth win of the season.

Sara Bey broke the scoring ice 23 seconds in to give Old Westbury the early advantage. Molly Francis halted Old Westbury's 3-0 run to put the Dolphins on the board with 25:19 left to make it a 3-1 game. Bey secured her 12th career hat trick to ignite a 4-0 Panther run with 19:55 left while also assisting on Halle Johnson's game-winning goal with 16:56 remaining. Johnson would later find Natasha Treuman at 2:58 to sent the Panthers into intermission with a 10-3 lead.

Old Westbury opened the second-half scoring books with Bey's fourth goal 1:43 in that sparked an 8-0 run. O'Boyle responded with a pair of goals in the final minutes to settle the 18-5 final.

Bey finished with a game-high six goals to go along with one assist, three ground balls, three caused turnovers and three draw controls to lead Old Westbury. Treuman chipped in with four goals, five ground balls, four caused turnovers and two draw controls. Danielle Weir registered three goals, three assists, four ground balls, two caused turnovers and five draw controls. Johnson and Taylor Guarneri added to the scoring with two goals apiece. Odl Westbury tied a program record (2015) with its sixth win of the season as Ashley Gugliuzzo (6-10) made three saves to secure the victory.

Kaitlin McGeown (0-3) stopped 12 shots while O'Boyle led the Dolphin offense with three goals.
