OLD WESTBURY, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's soccer posted their first win of the season Wednesday afternoon with a 4-1 non-conference final from Panther Park over the visiting City College of New York Beavers (2-2-0).

Melissa Outsen finished a feed from Sarah Roslonowski in the 17th minute to break the scoring ice for Old Westbury's 1-0 lead. CCNY answered in the 32nd minute as Sarah Diebboll caused a turnover in the backfield and scored past goalie Mary Clark to briefly tie the game. Roslonowski dribbled past four defenders in the 34th minute to score the game-winning goal to give Old Westbury (1-2-0) its 2-1 lead.

Roslonowski then drilled her second goal of the game in the 79th minute by launching a ball from the top of the box past goalie Catherine Langkamp to make it a 3-1 game. Jessica Tuckruskye finished a pass from Edania Martinez in the 87th minute to settle the scoring.

Clark (1-1-0) made four saves to collect Old Westbury's win as the Panther defense held CCNY to eight shots. Langkamp (2-2-0) stopped seven of Old Westbury's 32 shots in defeat for CCNY.

PURCHASE PANTHERS UP NEXT FOR OLD WESTBURY: Old Westbury hits the road Saturday (Sept. 17) to open Skyline Conference play against the Purchase College Panthers at 12 p.m. in Purchase, New York.
