Old Westbury returns home Saturday (Oct. 7) for a Skyline Conference Senior Day matchup versus St. Joseph’s College (Brooklyn)

PATCHOGUE, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's soccer lost a tightly contested 2-1 Skyline Conference road decision Tuesday afternoon to the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) Golden Eagles (6-4-0, 3-0-0 Skyline) from Danzi Stadium in Patchogue, New York.

St. Joseph's jumped on the board 1:57 in as Christina Gagliardi finished a run from Carly Credidio to score on Panther goalie Alexa Higgins (1-8-0) for the 1-0 lead.  Old Westbury (2-9-0, 1-3-0) answered in the 12th minute with Nicole Jones scoring the equalizer off a feed from Ashley Onofre to make it a 1-1 game.  Later in the half, Carly Credidiio scored the decisive goal in the 34th minute to not only send the Golden Eagles into intermission with a 2-1 lead.  Credidiio's second-career game-winning goal led St. Joseph's to victory.
