@OW_Panthers Men’s Golf competes at St. Joseph’s (L.I.) Skyline tri-match

Old Westbury takes on Yeshiva University in a head-to-head match Sunday (Oct. 14) for its final round heading into the Skyline Conference Championships (Oct. 21-22)

RIVERHEAD, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury men's golf returned to the greens Friday with a Skyline Conference tri-match against the host St. Joseph's College (L.I.) Golden Eagles and Mount Saint Mary College Knights from the 6,567 yard, par 71 Cherry Creek Golf Links in Riverhead, New York. The Panthers combined to score 362 (+78) to fall to St. Joseph's (334, +50) and Mount Saint Mary (328, +44).

Old Westbury was led by Kihei Hayashi's round of 87 (+16) to place ninth. Henry Brunjes IV followed in 10th by carding 88 (+17). Anthony DiGirolamo (92, +21) and Prem Selvan (95, +24) rounded out Old Westbury's scoring four with 11th and 12th place finishes, respectively. Dyllon O'Shea fired 96 (+25) to place 13th.

Patrick Shea led Mount Saint Mary with a match-high 78 (+7) followed by Patrick Standard's 79 (+8) for St. Joseph's.

YESHIVA UNIVERSITY MACCABEES UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury is scheduled to tee off next against the Yeshiva University Maccabees Sunday (Oct. 14) at 12 p.m. from Split Rock Golf Course in Bronx.
