Henry Brunjes IV carded Old Westbury's second-best round Sunday at Split Rock Golf Course

BRONX --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury men's golf had their final tune-up round heading into the 2018 Skyline Conference Championship (Oct. 21-22) Sunday with a league matchup against the Yeshiva University Maccabees from the 6,682 yard, par 70 Split Rock Golf Course in Bronx. The Panthers scored a combined round of 343 (+63) to finish 15 strokes behind Yeshiva's 328 (+48).

Kihei Hayashi carded a round of 82 (+12) to tie for second in leading Old Westbury for the second-straight match. Henry Brunjes IV shot 89 (+19) to fire a sixth-place finish. Dyllon O'Shea (94, +24) and Prem Selvan (96, +26) finished seventh and eighth, respectively.

Alex Malech tallied a match-leading 79 (+9) to pace Yeshiva to victory.

SKYLINE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury closes out its fall schedule at the 2018 Skyline Conference Championships (Oct. 21-22) starting with the opening round Sunday (Oct. 21) at 11 a.m. from Baiting Hollow Club in Baiting Hollow, New York.
