Old Westbury returns to Skyline Conference Championship play for the first time since 2012

NEW YORK --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury softball has earned the No. 5 seed and returns to postseason play for the first time since 2012 in this week's 2018 Skyline Conference Championship (May 2, 4-6). The Panthers will host the fourth-seeded College of Mount Saint Vincent Dolphins on Wednesday at 3 p.m. from Jackie Robinson Athletic Complex.

Since 2005, Old Westbury is 6-8 at home versus Mount Saint Vincent. The Dolphins swept the 2018 regular-season series from Old Westbury with 5-1 and 11-10 wins on Apr. 21 in Valhalla, New York. Mount Saint Vincent owns a 19-11 series record with Old Westbury dating back to 2004.
