PURCHASE, N.Y. --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's volleyball swept the Purchase College Panthers (4-14, 1-7 Skyline) in straight sets (25-13, 26-24, 25-10) Monday evening in a Skyline Conference road battle inside Purchase College Gymnasium in Purchase, New York.

Old Westbury (6-7, 2-5 Skyline) dominated play against Purchase by hitting .181 compared to Purchase's -.108. Old Westbury also held the edge in points (52-19), kills (36-12), aces (12-5), blocks (4-2), assists (30-11) while both teams were even with 39 digs apiece.

Daesha Garrison led the way for Old Westbury by tying her career-high 12 kills to go along with seven digs, four blocks, an ace and an assist to total a match-best 16.5 points. Joelle Desrosiers followed with 10 kills at a .333 clip and nine digs. Kyraleigh Zinnel directed Old Westbury's offense with match highs 17 assists and seven aces to go with seven digs and five kills while Ally Parker chipped in with 10 assists, seven digs and five kills to help secure the victory.

Pamella Gonzalez nailed down three kills and scooped up eight digs to pace Purchase while Isis Gonzalez anchored Purchase's defense with a match-high 13 digs.
