OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury earned a convincing 4-0 Skyline Conference win over the visiting St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) Bears (6-10-0, 1-7-0 Skyline) on Senior Day from Panther Park. With one game remaining in the regular season, Old Westbury (10-8-0, 4-5-0 Skyline) currently sits in sixth place in the league standings.

Prior to kick off, seniors Gabriela Castelo (2018-19), Shauna Henderson (2017-19), Gabby Lamanno (2017-19), Cara Normile (2016-19) and Ashley Onofre (2017-19) were honored with the annual Senior Day Ceremony for their dedication to the Old Westbury women's soccer program.

Normile gave Old Westbury a 1-0 lead by blasting her fifth-career game-winning goal into the back of the net in the 24th minute. Normile took eight shots in the opening stanza to give the Panthers a 14-6 first-half advantage in shots.

At the 51:06 mark, Jessica Pedroza lobbed the ball over Bear goalie Reem Shaban's (3-8-0) head for a bouncer goal to double Old Westbury's advantage. Lamanno joined in on the scoring frenzy 1:18 later when she used a header put away her second-career goal off of Normile's corner kick to build the Panthers' three-goal cushion. Normile capped the scoring in the 58th minute netting her second goal of the game to settle the 4-0 final.

Panther netminder Yakeline Umanzor (9-5-0) made one first-half save before Moira Nolan stopped one shot in final 45 minutes to preserve the fourth combined shutout. Shaban collected six saves in defeat for St. Joseph's.

In the end, Old Westbury outplayed St. Joseph's in shots (20-9), shots on goal (11-2) and corner kicks (7-4)
