OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's soccer will be making a return to the Skyline Conference Championship for the first time since 2015 as the No. 6 seed Saturday afternoon on the road. Old Westbury used a three-goal second half to produce a 5-1 Skyline Conference regular-season home finale win Wednesday afternoon over the Purchase College Panthers (7-8-0, 3-7-0 Skyline) on Breast Cancer Awareness Day from Panther Park. Old Westbury (11-8-0, 5-5-0 Skyline) is now 6-4-3 against Purchase since 2008.

With the win, Old Westbury locked up a meeting in Saturday's first-round game with the third-seeded Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons (13-4-0, 8-2-0 Skyline) at 7:30 p.m. from Fleming Field in Yonkers, New York.

Cara Normile finished Victoria Voboril's feed 25 yards out in the 18th minute to give Old Westbury the 1-0 lead. Old Westbury doubled its advantage in the 31st minute as Mia Almonte connected with Bernadelle Dorvil, who then put one past Purchase goalie Amber Yarter (5-8-0) for the game-winning goal (third-career). Holding the 2-0 lead, Old Westbury went into the break with a 7-3 shot advantage.

Purchase broke into the scoring column in the 51st minute when Ashley Blom sent a long ball to Rebecca Colgan to slip past Old Westbury netminder Yakeline Umanzor (10-5-0) and make it a 2-1 game. Dorvil buried 10th-career goal after receiving a well-timed throughball from Britney Graham in the 64th minute for Old Westbury's two-goal cushion (3-1). 3:05 later, Tania Bonilla's throw-in found the boot of Jessica Pedroza to extend Old Westbury's lead to three goals (4-1) before Pedroza capped the scoring with her seventh-career goal in the 77th minute to settle the 5-1 final.

Umanzor made two saves on the day as Yarter stopped three shots.

Old Westbury finished with the advantage in shots (17-5), shots on target (8-3) and corner kicks (9-4)
