NEWBURGH, N.Y. --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's volleyball concluded the 2019 season with an 8-13 overall record (3-8 Skyline) after falling in straight sets (25-15, 25-13, 25-12) to the Mount Saint Mary College Knights (13-16, 6-5 Skyline) Wednesday evening in Skyline Conference road action inside Kaplan Center in Newburgh, New York.

Old Westbury produced nine kills and attacked at a rate of .167 during its third set to finish the match firing away at a -.024 clip.  Mount Saint Mary hit .338 and outplayed the Panthers in points (46-23), kills (38-18), aces (7-2), assists (35-16) and digs (45-29) while Old Westbury won the battle of blocks, 3-1.

Leading the way for Old Westbury was Joelle Desrosiers, who totaled 13 points on 11 kills, one solo block and one ace.  She also hit .086 on 35 swings and added five digs to her statline.  Ally Parker served an ace and handed out 14 assists to direct the Panthers offensive attack. Daesha Garrison chipped in team-leading eight digs to go along with four kills and one solo block.

Grace Riddle nailed down a match-leading 14 kills as Emily Mazzurco distributed 17 assists and two aces to pace the Knights to victory.  Danielle Kralik finished with 12 kills while Klaire Wall and Alyssa Barbara both scooped up a match-high nine digs.

Old Westbury graduates a two-member senior class consisting of Desrosiers (2018-19) and Kyraleigh Zinnel (2017-19).
