Men’s Golf breaks into win column by topping Mount Saint Vincent

HARRISON, N.Y. --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury men's golf improved to 1-2 on the season with Saturday's 349-358 win over the College of Mount Saint Vincent Dolphins (2-1) from Willow Ridge Country Club in Harrison, New York.

Anthony Mazzella put together a high-round of 76 to claim the individual title for Old Westbury. Alexander Reiner followed with a round of 86 to tie for second while Kihei Hayashi carded 88 to place fifth overall. Anthony DiGirolamo rounded out Old Westbury's scoring with 99 to finish eighth overall

Sam Thomas and Casper DeFrancesca both shot 86 to pace Mount Saint Vincent.

Old Westbury is scheduled to tee off next at the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) Golden Eagles tri-match on Friday (Oct. 11) at 12 p.m. from Bellport Golf Club in Bellport, New York.
