FARMINGDALE, N.Y. --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) For the second-straight year, SUNY Old Westbury women's volleyball dropped a five-set (25-21, 19-25, 25-14, 20-25, 6-15) Skyline Conference neutral site battle Monday evening to the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) Bears (6-6, 3-2 Skyline) inside Walter A. Lynch Sports Center in Farmingdale, New York. The Panthers (5-6, 1-4 Skyline) are winless against the Bears dating back to the 2015 campaign.

St. Joseph's fired away at a match-high .429 clip in the deciding set to attack at .113 hitting percentage. The Panthers finished the match hitting .095 while holding the advantage in kills (46-41) and assists (44-38). The Bears led the way in aces (10-9), blocks (5-3) and digs.

Joelle Desrosiers nailed down a season-high 16 kills and scooped up a career-best 10 digs to post her first-career double-double. Kyraleigh Zinnel tallied 25 assists, 10 digs, eight kills and five aces to register her 19th-career double-double (third of season). Hillary Bennett anchored the Panther defense with a career high 35 digs while Kristin Grieshaber followed with a season-high 21 digs to go along with six kills and two aces. Ally Parker contributed 14 assists as Daesha Garrison chipped in with eight kills.

Valentina Urgo finished with a match-high 14 kills to go with 20 digs to lead St Joseph's. Christina Morales followed with 11 kills, 20 digs and two aces while Briana Marrazzo served a match high six aces to go along with 18 digs and five kills.
