BRONXVILLE, N.Y. --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's volleyball fell in three sets (17-25, 21-25, 24-26) Wednesday evening to the Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons (11-9, 4-2 Skyline) in Skyline Conference road action from Campbell Sports Center in Bronxville, New York.

Old Westbury (5-7, 1-5 Skyline) hit .095 in the deciding stanza, including using a 9-0 rally for the brief 24-23 lead, to register its best hitting set of the match before finishing at a .023 clip. Sarah Lawrence hit .135 while holding the advantage in kills (37-26), aces (6-3) and assists (35-24). The Panthers held the edge in blocks (2-1) and digs (82-81).

Ally Parker finished with 15 digs, 13 assists, three kills and two aces to register her second-career double-double to lead Old Westbury. Kyraleigh Zinnel followed with 14 digs, 11 assists and three kills to post her 20th-career double-double (fourth of season). Joelle Desrosiers chipped in with a career-high 13 digs to go with eight kills while Daesha Garrison totaled five kills and two blocks. Hillary Bennett anchored the Panther defense with 24 digs while Kristin Grieshaber scooped up 14 digs and nailed down six kills.

Melanie Coleman led the way with a match-high 11 kills to go along with 10 digs, two aces and one block for Sarah Lawrence. Davis Mathis contributed nine kills while Lauren Kilroy added 16 digs and seven kills. Isabel Pecora directed the Gryphon offense with a match-best 28 assists to go with 13 digs as Clarise Steiner finished with a match-high 28 digs to go along with nine kills and four assists.
