MANHATTAN, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury men's basketball played from behind from the jump Tuesday evening as the Yeshiva University Maccabees (15-5, 13-2 Skyline) extended their winning streak to 14 games with an 88-66 Skyline Conference decision from Max Stern Athletic Center in Manhattan.  The Panthers (13-9, 11-6 Skyline) are now 8-5 against the Maccabees since the 2013-14 season.

Leading from the opening tip, Yeshiva put together a 9-2 run capped by Ryan Turell's fastbreak dunk to give the Maccabees a 10-point lead (18-8) with 11:22 left in the first half.  Chase Johnson sank a free throw at the 9:56 mark to cut Old Westbury's deficit to single-digits (20-11) before Yeshiva scored seven of the game's next nine points to extend its lead to 14.  Old Westbury answered with seven-unanswered points as Justin Alleyne-Washington contributed five to pull the Panthers within seven (29-22) with 4:54 remaining.
