OLD WESTBURY, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury dropped 19-5 and 10-0 non-conference decisions in the home finale against the Hunter College Hawks (10-7) Tuesday afternoon from Jackie Robinson Athletic Center.  The Panthers (9-14) move to 5-9 against the Hawks dating back to the 2011 campaign.

Game 1 (5 Inn.): Hunter 19, Old Westbury 5
The Hawks scored 16 runs over three innings of play on starter Lillian Chiuzzi (L, 0-1: 15 H, 19 R, 16 ER, 11 BB) to put the game away.  Caroline Bibula's (2-for-3, 4 R, RBI, 2 BB, SB) RBI single through the right side scored Gianna Raimondi (3-for-4, 2 R, 2 RBI, 2B) for the game-winning run in the second inning.

Old Westbury pushed four runs across on starter Leanna Donahue (W, 2-1: 5 IP, 8 H, 5 R, BB, K).  Jessica Schwartz (3-for-3, R, 2 RBI) extended her hitting streak to five games with a RBI single before scoring on a Nicole Baron (1-for-3, 2 RBI, 2B) two-run double to make it a 16-4 game.

Hunter tacked on two runs in the fourth and a single run in the fifth before Amanda Neenan (3-for-3, 2 R, 2B) advanced home off of Schwartz's single to settle the 19-5 final.

Game 2: Hunter 10, Old Westbury 0
Hunter put together a five-run first inning on on starter Baron (L, 7-10: 5 IP, 13 H, 10 R, 9 ER, 3 BB, 3 K).  Alana Vezza (1-for-3, 2 R, RBI, 2B) slapped a run-scoring double to center field to drive home Colleen McCoy (3-for-4, 2 R, 2B), for what proved to be the game-winning run.

Hunter put the game out of reach plating three runs in the second and two runs in the third to build its 10-run advantage.

Mallory Moretti collected Old Westbury's lone hit of the game with a single to start the fourth inning off Hawk starter Diana Ferreira (W, 2-0: 5 IP, H, 2 BB, 5 K).  Samantha Arcese was hit by the pitch two batters later before Hunter proceeded to retire the next-four batters to secure the run rule shutout.
