OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) Old Westbury men's soccer helped raise awareness on September 20 for the Go4theGoal® Foundation during their 2-0 Skyline Conference-opening shutout win against Yeshiva University.

Below is head coach John DiRico's thoughts on his program's participation with the foundation:

$4 from every pair of $5 laces plus 100 percent of donations go back to helping local children with cancer and their families in the state the funds are raised.  Among those programs are financial assistance for families dealing with pediatric cancer, as well as grants for hospitals for "unique programs and events that improve patient experience and give kids something to look forward to."

Go4theGoal® also helps provide finances for renovations to hospitals to make them more welcoming, comforting, and interactive for families of pediatric cancer patients, in addition to granting wishes for children battling cancer.
