OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's basketball maintained a double-digit lead for the final 35:56 of play to capture a 83-32 Skyline Conference victory Wednesday evening over the visiting Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons (0-16, 0-11 Skyline) inside Clark Athletic Center. With the win, the Panthers (7-9, 7-4 Skyline) complete the series sweep for the third-straight season.
 
Old Westbury outscored Sarah Lawrence 22-6 in the opening quarter headlined by La'Niya Clark's 11 points.  Demitra Loukopoulos knocked down a three-pointer at the 5:39 mark of the second quarter to pull the Gryphons within 13 points, 28-15.  Micah Browne responded with a triple of her own to ignite a 12-3 run over the remaining 4:05 for Old Westbury to send the 40-18 game into the break.
 
Ahead 62-23 after three quarters of play, the Panthers put together a 19-5 spurt from 8:26 to 2:40, capped by Antonia Brown's three-pointer, to extend the lead to a game-high 53 points, 81-28.  Alexa Zartman-Ball drained back-to-back jumpers for Sarah Lawrence in the remaining 1:59 to settle the 83-32 final.
 
Clark led all scorers with a career-best 21 points (8-of-15 FG, 3-of-8 3FG, 2-of-2 FT) to go along with three steals in Old Westbury's triumph. Davida Warren followed with 15 points (5-of-7 FG, 5-of-6 FT), 15 rebounds (10 offensive), four blocks (game-high) and two steals to post her 30th-career double-double (10th on the season).  Browne chipped in 14 points (6-of-13 FG, 1-of-2 3FG, 1-of-1 FT) and six assists. Phalan Smith added 13 points (6-of-14 FG, 1-of-1 FT), five rebounds and two steals while Paige Brown contributed career highs of 10 points (5-of-8 FG), 17 rebounds and two steals from the bench.
 
Loukopoulos finished with 13 points, five rebounds and three steals while Ana Srdanovic followed with 11 points and two steals to pace Sarah Lawrence.
 
Old Westbury finished the evening shooting 42.5 percent (34-of-80) from the field, 33.3 percent (6-of-18) from beyond the arc and 75 percent (9-of-12) from the free-throw line.  Sarah Lawrence connected on 21 percent (13-of-62) from the field, 17.9 percent (5-of-28) from three-point territory and 33.3 percent (1-of-3) from the charity stripe. Old Westbury won the boards battle, 65-31, while scoring 19 second-chance points off 26 offensive rebounds. Old Westbury outplayed Sarah Lawrence in assists (19-7), blocks (5-3), steals (11-6), fastbreak points (34-4), bench points (20-4) and points in the paint (44-8) while scoring 19 points off 21 Gryphon turnovers.

Old Westbury remains on campus Saturday (Jan. 25) for a Skyline Conference battle against the Mount Saint Mary College Knights (13-3, 11-0 Skyline) at 3 p.m. inside Clark Athletic Center. Old Westbury will enter Saturday's matchup 2-2 at home against Mount Saint Mary since the 2015-16 campaign.
