The Old Westbury women's volleyball team dropped the 2022 season opener at Baruch on Tuesday evening, three sets to one.
1st Set: Baruch 25, Old Westbury 17
2nd Set: Old Westbury 25, Baruch 23
3rd Set: Baruch 25, Old Westbury 16
4th Set: Baruch 25, Old Westbury 19
How it Happened
- The two teams battled through the first set, but Baruch held the lead at 19-17 and finished with six straight points to close out the set.Â
- 12 attack errors by Baruch helped Old Westbury take the second set, along with eight kills and two service aces by the Panthers to win the set 25-23.
- Baruch took the third and fourth set with a 23-9 advantage in kills.
