Pedroza Leads Panthers in Tight Contest with FSC

Old Westbury, New York | October 10, 2023 | The Panther women's soccer team played a strong game against Farmingdale State College on Tuesday.
 
Jessica Pedroza scored in the 37th minute of the first half off a pass from Alyse Then, going one-on-one with the Rams' keeper creating a 1-0 advantage. This was the second consecutive game Pedroza has scored for the Panthers, moving her season total to five goals.
 
Farmingdale tied the game with less than two minutes remaining in the first half, pulling ahead with late goals in the second half in what ended as a 3-1 loss for the Panthers.
 
Among an array of strong performances by Panther players, goalkeeper Natalie Intrieri stood out, seeing 32 shots in all, 15 on goal, and making 12 saves.
