Petrucelly, a reigning member of the Skyline Conference All-Conference Second Team, returned to the heart of the Panthers' lineup for the 2025 campaign.

Petrucelly was outstanding in the first game of the day as he went a perfect 4-4 from the dish. He recorded four RBIs, one walk and most notably a massive home run to center field. Petrucelly's game one homer came as the designated hitter came to the plate in the bottom of the seventh with the score tied 12-12. Petrucelly blasted his walk off homer to center field to give the Panthers their first victory of the new season.

In the second game of the day, Petrucelly also made a big impact. Petrucelly went 2-4 with an RBI that came late to help put the Panthers back in the game and eventually led to another walk off win.

Petrucelly is currently batting .750 through the first weekend of play and leads the Panthers in batting average, hits, and slugging percentage.

Next up, the Panthers will hit the road for two non-conference doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday. Old Westbury will face off against John Jay on Friday, March 7 followed by Lehman on Saturday March 8. Both games will begin at 12 PM.
