Danin Selected to College Sports Communicator’s Academic All-District Team for Softball

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – The College Sports Communicators announced their 2025 Academic All-District teams for softball on Tuesday afternoon. Madison Danin earned recognition on the All-District Team as a designated player. 
 
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their performances both on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes honorees from four divisions, NCAA DI, DII, DIII and NAIA.
 
Student-Athletes are nominated by their school's Sports Information Directors and then the CSC All-America Committee releases the honorees. From there, all active CSC members vote on the All-America ballot. 
 
On the field, Madison Danin impressed in her senior season. Danin finished the regular season with an overall batting average of .351, an OBP of .411 and a slugging percentage of .533. Danin recorded 33 hits, 23 RBIs, 14 runs, 10 doubles and three home runs. Danin drew nine walks and stole two bases. 
 
Danin ranked in the top 20 in conference in slugging percentage, was tied for seventh in the conference for doubles, and was tied for eighth overall in home runs. 
 
Danin was recognized on the Skyline Conference's All-Conference Second Team as designated player. 
 
In the classroom, Danin shined as a Public Health major. The Long Island native has earned a cumulative GPA of 3.66 on a 4.0 scale.
