The SUNY Old Westbury women's basketball team was defeated in the penultimate game of the 2025-26 season 82-53 by St. Joseph's Brooklyn from The Hill Center.
Endya Greene continued to be the Panthers' power on offense, netting 16 points to go with eight rebounds, three assists, and a block.
Sakhmet Lewis followed with 12 points and added six boards and two helpers.
Aissata Kone had 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and a team-leading three steals.
Korrina Plair topped the Panthers with 14 rebounds and added eight points. Old Westbury's scoring was rounded out by six points from
Moneasia McCloud and two assists and a steal from
Thalia Fowler.
It remained a close contest through the first six minutes of action, but the home Bears ended the opening quarter on a 12-4 run to lead 27-15. Old Westbury would trail by double digits through the rest of the contest, shooting at 25 percent on the evening.
The season will wrap up on February 21 at home against Farmingdale State at 12:00 pm.
