The SUNY Old Westbury women's basketball team concluded the 2025-26 season this afternoon from the Clark Center with a 74-59 loss to Farmingdale State. The Panthers finish the season at 2-20 (1-19 Skyline) while Farmingdale improved to 14-11 (12-8 Skyline).
Endya Greene had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds to go with three steals, two assists, and a block.
Sakhmet Lewis followed with 20 points and added five rebounds and two assists. The top scoring was rounded out by 12 points from
Aissata Kone.Â
It was a tightly contested opening quarter, with the score tied on multiple occasions. Tied at 12 with two minutes left, Farmingdale scored the next six points. Foul shots from Lewis and
Korrina Plair in the final minute made it a one possession game, 18-15. The Panthers struggled in the second quarter, scoring just nine points to fall behind 36-24 at the break. The Rams would maintain a double digit lead through the final 20 minutes to take the victory.Â
