Sean Maddi also crossed the plate for the Panthers, while Brandon Hernandez and Donny Whalen each drove in a run. JT Torres and James Reilly added hits as Old Westbury worked to generate offense.

GAME 2: Farmingdale State 6, Old Westbury 5

Old Westbury showed resilience in the nightcap, rallying from an early deficit to take a late lead before Farmingdale State responded in the final innings.

Trailing 4-1 entering the sixth, the Panthers erupted for three runs to tie the game, highlighted by RBI singles from Brandon Hernandez and Mike Tiseo along with a bases-loaded walk drawn by Dean Pasolini.

Old Westbury took a 5-4 lead in the seventh inning on an RBI single from JJ Palumbo, putting the Panthers in position to force a split.

However, Farmingdale State answered in the bottom half and again in the ninth inning, scoring the go-ahead run to hand Old Westbury a 6-5 defeat in the season finale.
