Behavior Statement
The Skyline Conference believes in ethical and civil discourse during all of its athletic events. The use of abusive language, racial epithets or other disparaging remarks during sporting events will not be tolerated. If such events occur during a sport contest the player(s) must immediately inform their head coach (directly or through a game official) at which time the head coach will request a suspension in play. All players and head coaches will be informed by the official that such conduct will not be tolerated and will result in disciplinary sanctions which can occur during the resumption of the game, as well as upon further review by the Skyline Conference for the offending player(s).
No physical violence of any type will be tolerated at an athletics event.
The Presidents, coaches and players of every conference institution are to be made aware of this policy and the importance of maintaining a positive environment for our student-athletes.
