NEW YORK, NY 
(www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) - The SUNY College at Old Westbury junior right-handed pitcher Alex DiSanto has been named the Skyline Conference Baseball Co-Pitcher of the Week, announced Monday afternoon by league officials. 

DiSanto, a native of New Hyde Park, New York, made his Old Westbury debut in game one of the February 24 doubleheader at Frostburg State.  DiSanto pitched a scoreless ninth innings in the Panthers' 5-2 to record his first save of the season.  DiSanto also closed the door in Old Westbury's 3-2 victory over Baruch on March 2. 


PLATTSBURGH STATE CARDINALS UP NEXT FOR DiSANTO AND THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to the diamond on Friday (Mar. 8) for a home opener as part of the Skyline/SUNYAC Challenge with the Plattsburgh State Cardinals in Old Westbury. New York.  First pitch is set for 1 p.m. the Baseball Field at the Jackie Robinson Athletic Complex.
