Members of Old Westbury’s men’s basketball program participated at the 2014 Long Island Heart Walk at Jones Beach on September 21


WANTAGH, NY (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) - The SUNY College at Old Westbury men's basketball program team took time out to participate in the American Heart Association (AHA) Long Island Heart Walk at Jones Beach on September 21.

"This was a great experience for our student-athletes to learn how important it is for the entire community to support a cause that builds healthier lives," said assistant athletic director and head men's basketball coach Bernard Tomlin.

Tomlin, along with Old Westbury men's basketball players Cory Alexander, Kaleem Edwards, Bradley Eugene, Justin Mize, Preston Powell, Omari Trebuse, Nat Vaughan and Cody Zafron participated at the Long Island Heart Walk to help the AHA in the fight against heart disease.
