NEW YORK --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury (0-4, 0-4 Skyline) softball concluded its four-game road trip with 8-1 and 14-5 Skyline Conference road losses to the Mount Saint Vincent Dolphins (3-1, 3-1 Skyline) Sunday afternoon from Randall's Island.

Game 1: Mount Saint Vincent 8, Old Westbury 1
For the third-straight game, Old Westbury jumped out to an early lead as Samantha Scharff singled home Katie Rizzo for a 1-0 advantage.

Panther starter Amanda Fucci (0-2, 6 IP, 13, 8 R, BB, 6 K) cruised through two innings until the Dolphins' Rachel Heizer (2-for-3, 2 R, 2 RBI, BB) drilled a two-run home run to put Mount Saint Vincent ahead for good.

Mount Saint Vincent scored once in the fourth, two more in the fifth, and three in the sixth to close out the scoring.

Mackenzie Heizer (1-0) fanned 11 batters to earn the Dolphins' one-hit victory.

Game 2: Mount Saint Vincent 15, Old Westbury 4 (5 Inn.)
Panther starter Nicole DeCola (0-2) was charged with nine runs on seven hits and one walk without recording an out before Fucci (9 H, 5 R, BB, 5 K) worked the final four innings in relief.

Down 11-0, Gabriella Valdes (2-for-2, RBI, R) lifted a sacrifice fly to left field to score Krysta Flareau in the third inning for Old Westbury's initial run.

Old Westbury answered again in the fourth as Kaite Skelly doubled home Fucci before scoring off Flareau's RBI single to make it an 11-3 game.

After Mount Saint Vincent scored three more runs in the fourth, Old Westbury scored two on an error by shortstop Katie Moos to settle the 14-5 final.

Rachel Heizer (1-1, 5 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 3 K) went the distance to earn Mount Saint Vincent's win.

BROOKLYN BULLDOGS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to action Monday (Mar. 21) for its home opener against the Brooklyn Bulldogs. First pitch of the non-conference doubleheader is set for 3 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Athletic Complex.
