FARMINGDALE, NY --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's lacrosse lost a 19-1 decision Tuesday evening to the Moravian College Greyhounds (8-1) to close out non-conference play from Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale, New York. Old Westbury (1-7) moves to 0-2 all time versus Moravian.

Liz Bill broke the scoring ice 26 seconds in to give Moravian the early lead. Moments later, Bill scored the second of her five first-half goals to double the Greyhound advantage to make it a 2-0 game with 26:02 left in the first half. Taylor Guarneri got Old Westbury's first attempt off at 23:22 before Natasha Treuman tested Moravian goalie Kelley Gavin 15 seconds later with a shot on target. Moravian held a 23-3 shot advantage in the opening period to lead 13-0 at intermission.

Trailing by 14, LaChaye Allen netted her first goal of the season with 20:34 showing on the second-half clock to put Old Westbury on the board. Moravian tacked on five more goals over the remaining 18:19 to settle the 19-1 final.

Panther goalie Ashley Gugliuzzo (1-7) finished with 10 saves while Gavin (8-1) stopped one shot in 36 minutes to secure Moravian's win.

Jessica Tuckruskye set career highs with five caused turnovers and four ground balls for Old Westbury. Cameron Isnardi controlled four draws. Treuman and Weir both fired two shots as Old Westbury was limited to seven attempts.

Meaghan McMullan scored a game-high seven goals while Bill followed with five to lead the Greyhounds.

SENIOR DAY/AUTISM AWARENESS GAME VERSUS THE MOUNT SAINT MARY COLLEGE KNIGHTS UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to campus Saturday (Apr. 7) for a Skyline Conference Senior Day/Autism Awareness Game against the Mount Saint Mary College Knights at 2 p.m. in from Panther Park.

Prior to opening draw, seniors LaChaye Allen (2016-18), Taylor Guarneri (2015-18), Ashley Gugliuzzo (2015-18), Halle Johnson (2015-18), Edania Martinez (2015, 2017-18), Jessica Tuckruskye (2014-18), Danielle Weir (2015-18) and Shijuan Williams (2015-16, 2018) will be honored with the annual senior day ceremony for their dedication to the program.
