Old Westbury advances to Skyline Conference Championship play for the 11t-straight season

NEW YORK --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury baseball will play as the No. 6 seed in this week's Skyline Conference Championship (May 2, 4-6). The Panthers (19-15-1), who make their 11th-straight postseason appearance, travel Wednesday to Newburgh, New York to take on the third-seeded Mount Saint Mary College Knights (21-10-1) at 3:30 p.m. from MSMC Baseball Complex.

Since 2013, Old Westbury is 4-0 at Mount Saint Mary. The Knights swept the 2018 regular-season series from Old Westbury with 8-4 (Box Score) and 16-8 (Box Score) finals on Apr. 5 in Patchogue, New York. Before falling 4-3 in last year's first-round matchup to Mount Saint Mary, Old Westbury had won the previous two Skyline Conference Championships versus the Knights dating back to 2010.
