@OW_Panthers Women’s Basketball to defend league title as No. 3 seed in 2019 Skyline Championship

Old Westbury will host No. 6 Farmingdale State College on Tuesday (Feb. 19) with a Skyline Conference Championship first-round matchup

NEW YORK --- (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) SUNY Old Westbury women's basketball will defend their league title as the No. 3 seed in the upcoming 2019 Skyline Conference Championship. The Panthers (20-5) will host sixth-seeded Farmingdale State College (9-16) on Tuesday (Feb. 19) with a first-round matchup at 7 p.m. inside Clark Athletic Center.

Old Westbury has swept four-straight season series from Farmingdale State since the 2015-16 campaign in addition to eliminating the Rams a season ago with a 60-48 win to advance to the finals. Entering Tuesday with a nine-game winning streak versus Farmingdale State, the Panthers are 1-2 against the Rams in the postseason dating back to the 2004-05 season. With Old Westbury set to make its fourth-straight postseason appearance, the Panthers are 6-1 (3-1 home record, 3-0 road record) with a pair of championships (2016, 2018) during that stretch.
