The SUNY Old Westbury (6-8, 2-5 Skyline) Men's basketball team host SUNY Purchase (3-10, 3-3 Skyline) to a conference match-up held, January 22, 2022 at Nold Hall, Farmingdale, NY.

Zachary Cummings and Charles Wingate totaled 23 points during the first half for Old Westbury as they trailed by 3 points to SUNY Purchase 36-39.  During 1st half action, Zachary Cummings hit 4-6 FT and 3-5 3-pt, 2-2 FT and Charles Wingate had 3-7 FG, 3-7 3-pt, 2-2 FT.  SUNY Purchase led at the half by 3 points and during 2nd half action had their largest lead of 27 points (70-52).  SUNY Old Westbury was able to chip away at the Purchase lead with the shooting performance coming from Zachary Cummings, Charles Wingate and Jonathan Jamieson but were not able to match the 50%  3 pt shooting percentage to Old Westbury's 25% shooting from behind the arc in 2nd half action.  Old Westbury loses 81-94 closing the week with 2 losses.

Farmingdale, N.Y. - As of Monday, December 20th, there will be no fan permitted at any Farmingdale State College home athletic contests until further notice. 

The following guidelines for visiting teams remain in place.

Statement Regarding Visiting Teams - Winter 2021-22

1. All tier 1 personnel teams must be vaccinated or following Skyline testing protocols.

2. All tier 1 personnel must wear masks indoors at all times regardless of your vaccination status, other than when practicing or competing. This includes on the bench during games.

3. Visiting teams will be provided a locker room; however, use of the showers before/after games is not permitted.

4. Visiting teams are not permitted to eat in Nold Hall.
