NEW YORK, NY – The Skyline Conference announced the 2023 Fall All-Sportsmanship Teams, this afternoon.
The Skyline Conference All-Sportsmanship teams recognize and honor student-athletes who go above and beyond to motivate, support and care for their teammates. The student-athletes selected have all helped their respective teams and ensured that each of their teammates felt welcomed and supported throughout the season.
The conference accepts nominations from head coaches in each of the fall sports. The conference then compiles a list from each institution to make-up the fall honorees.
Skyline recognizes All-Sportsmanship Team members in all 19 of its championship sports. Every school has one recipient per sport for his or her sportsmanlike demeanor both on, and off the field/course.
SUNY Old Westbury had six student-athletes listed on the Fall All-Sportsmanship team for the Skyline Conference.
Nick Dupkin was selected as a member of the men's cross-country team. Nick is a sophomore from Massapequa Park, New York.
Heather Dillon was selected again this year from the women's cross-country program. Heather is an accounting major from Deer Park, New York and is also a member of Old Westbury's softball team.
Robert Martini is the honoree from the men's golf team. Robert is from Manhasset, New York.
Tyler Tesoriere was selected from the men's soccer team. Tyler is a first-year mid-fielder on the team and is from Valley Stream, New York.
Jasmine Roldan joins the list from women's soccer. Jasmine is a first-year and is from Hicksville, New York.
Stephanie Velez was selected from the women's volleyball team. Stephanie is a sophomore outside hitter and is from North Babylon, NY
