JERSEY CITY, N.J.  — The SUNY Old Westbury men's volleyball team wrapped up with a tough 3-0 loss against New Jersey City University on Monday night at the John J. Moore Athletics & Fitness Center.
The Panthers were unable to overcome NJCU's aggressive attack, falling by set scores of 10-25, 9-25, and 11-25.
Despite the outcome, Yevhenii Reutskyi and Liam Eisel led the offensive effort with four kills apiece. Eisel also chipped in five digs and contributed on two blocks. Defensively, libero Jose Lorenzo Santos paced the Panthers with 12 digs, while Ashel Santos added ten assists in setting duties.
The Gothic Knights were led by Marcus Pardasie's 13 kills and Victor De Souza's all-around performance that included nine kills, three aces, and a block.
The Panthers return to action on Wednesday, April 2 for their final home match of the season.
