Two Named to Skyline Conference’s All-Conference Second Team for Baseball; Azarieh and Petrucelly Land on All-Conference Second Team

NEW YORK, N.Y. – On Wednesday, May 7, the Skyline Conference announced their 2025 Baseball All-Conference teams. RJ Azarieh and Mike Petrcuelly have been named to the All-Conference Second Team for baseball.

The conference announced the first team, second team, player of the year, rookie of the year and coaches of the year.

The Panthers concluded the 2025 regular season with an overall record of 19-16 and a Skyline Conference record of 9-11.

RJ Azarieh- All Conference Second Team- Designated Hitter/Relief Pitcher

RJ Azarieh dominated in his first season with the Panthers.

Azarieh shined as a two-way player for Old Westbury splitting time between, DH, outfield and relief pitcher. As a hitter, Azarieh had the second most hits in the Skyline Conference. He accumulated a batting average of .427, and OBP of .479 and a slugging percentage of .603. Azarieh recorded 56 hits, 30 RBIs, 25 runs, 17 doubles, two home runs, 13 walks and three stolen bases.

In the outfield, Azarieh had a perfect fielding percentage and 14 putouts with three assists. As a pitcher, Azarieh finished with nine appearances where he earned three wins and two saves. He accumulated an ERA of 4.35. Azarieh allowed just 11 hits, 10 runs and 17 walks in 20.2 innings pitched. Azarieh recorded 13 strikeouts.

Mike Petrucelly- All Conference Second Team- Outfield

Mike Petrucelly exceled in his junior campaign once again for the Panthers.

Petrucelly finished the year with a batting average of .303, OBP of .419 and a slugging percentage of .582.

Petrucelly recorded 34 hits, 31 RBIs, 19 runs, six doubles, eight home runs and four stolen bases. In the outfield, he has 35 putouts and four assists.

Petrucelly ranks in the top 15 in slugging percentage in the Skyline Conference. He also is in the top 10 in RBIs. Petrucelly leads the league in home runs with eight.
