Baseball Earns ABCA's Team Academic Excellence Award

GREENBORO, NC- On Wednesday, July 23, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) announced its 2024-25 Team Academic Excellence Award recipients. 
 
SUNY Old Westbury's Baseball program was recognized after a year of talent both on the field and most significantly in the classroom. This year's roster posted a sumulative GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-25 acadmic year. 
 
The award recognizes ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of at least a 3.0 or higher during the 2024-25 academic year.

Across all three NCAA divisions, there were roughly 440 teams that were honored for outstanding academic achievement.
