MEN'S SWIMMING EDGED BY YORK, 86-69

JAMAICA, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Swim team fell to York College on Friday night, 86-69, on the campus of York College.

Three Panthers claimed first place, despite losing the meet.  Brian Smith clocked in at 3:25.64 in the 200 Individual Medley to bring home first place.  David Mathew followed with a performance time of 44.29 in the 50 Backstroke while Nicholous Perdomo took home first place in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:32.58.

Nicholous Perdomo claimed a pair of second place medals.  In the 400 Freestyle, Perdomo finished with a time of 5:55.15 and in the 50 Butterfly he clocked in at 35.32.  Jesse Carcamo finished in second place with a time of 1:51 in the 100 Freestyle while David Mathew claimed fourth place with a time of 46.44.  Carcamo followed with a third place finish in the 50 Freestyle at 42.18.  Sean Smith claimed second place in the 100 Backstroke while brother Brian Smith finished in second place in the 100 Individual Medley with a time of 1:30.42.  Brian Smith finished off his individual accolades with a third place finish with a time of 41.57 in the 50 Breastroke.  As a team, the Panthers claimed first place in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
