MEN'S SWIMMING EDGED BY YORK (N.Y.), 112-95

JAMAICA, N.Y.-The SUNY College at Old Westbury Men's Swimming team lost a 112-95 decision on the road at non-conference opponent, York College on Friday evening. The Panthers fall to 0-4 on the season while the Cardinals improve to 3-5.
Highlights for the Panthers were a pair of victories by Nicholas Perdomo in the 100-yard butterfly (1:19.55) and the 50-yard butterfly (33.21). Jesse Carcamo captured first place in the 200 individual medley (2:57.01) and Sean Smith garnered first place in the 50-yard backstroke (58.83) followed by Damian Bergamaschi in second place (1:01.16)
In relay competition, Damian Bergamaschi, Stanley Fritz, David Harris and Jesse Carcamo claimed first place in the 200-yeard freestyle in at (2:46.27). The Old Westbury relay team of Bergamaschi, Brian Smith, Perdomo and Sean Smith registered second place in the 200-yard medley relay, finishing at 2:51.16.
