OW SWIMMING DROPS SEASON OPENER TO MOUNT SAINT MARY

RESULTS

NEWBURGH, NY (www.oldwestburypanthers.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury men's and women's swimming teams opened its 2010-11 season Saturday with a strong showing on the afternoon on the road against the Mount Saint Mary Knights in Skyline Conference action at the Elaine and William Kaplan Center Pool in Newburgh, New York. Despite the solid performances, the Panthers lost the men's dual 109-76 while the women fell 109-64 to the Knights.

Old Westbury will be back in the pool on Tuesday (Nov. 23), when the women's squad takes on the St. Joseph's-L.I. Golden Eagles at home at 7 p.m. while the men's team will return to action on Tuesday (Nov. 30) at home again the York Cardinals at 7 p.m.
