OLD WESTBURY, NY (www.oldwestburypanthers.com) – The SUN Y College at Old Westbury men's swimmer picked up a 91-84 non-conference victory over the Brooklyn Bulldogs Saturday afternoon in Brooklyn, New York.

On the day, Old Westbury won four individual events and a pair of relays. Michael Gavrilchin placed first in the 100 backstroke (1:02.83) and 100 butterfly (1:01.08) to lead the way. Cameron Russo finished first in the 100 freestyle at 57.37 while Stephan Paul touched the wall in 1:14.53 to register first in the 100 breaststroke event.

Gavrilchin, Paul, Russo and Michael Ceko teamed up to set a season best time of 1:50.35 in the 200 medley relay to claim first place. Chong Guo, Luis Montoya, Jonathan Rosado and Joe Shi took home first place honors in 1:58.51 in the 200 freestyle relay event.

SKYLINE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP UP NEXT FOR THE PANTHERS: Old Westbury returns to the pool on Saturday (Feb. 5), in Old Westbury, New York for the Skyline Conference Championship. Race time is set for 1 p.m. at the Old Westbury Aquatic Center.
