www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) – The SUNY College at Old Westbury women's soccer team opened their 2012 season on Saturday with a 4-0 loss to the Hartwick Hawks on day one of the Erinn K. Brozman Cup from Elmore Field in Oneonta, New York. Old Westbury (0-1) will battle the Utica Pioneers (1-0) on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Caitlin Thomas settled down after allowing the eventual game-winning goal, as the Panthers headed into the half down, 1-0. Old Westbury and Hartwick drew even with four shots apiece in the first half. Hartwick piled on three more second half goals in the 55th, 70th and 71st minutes on Old Westbury goalkeeper
Heather Grosso. In total, Hartwick outshot Old Westbury, 11-6, including 8-4 on target. Old Westbury held the advantage in corner kicks, 4-2.
Old Westbury made four saves on the day while Hartwick's Hope Brown made four stops to grab the shutout.
